First sem Vs Final sem

First sem Vs Final sem
Just one day of college in my final sem in which I cud not sit continuously for more than half hour continuously. This made me realize the drastic change in me when compared to my behavior in the first day class in first sem. So here is just a comparison in each and every action of mine.

1st day of coll in first sem:
I got up too early in the morning (nearly 6.00AM). I badly wanted to get rid of sitting at home doing nothing for 4 months-I guess this made me get up so early.
I’ve already arranged my college bag the previous night like a small kid arranging her note books based on time table. I even selected wat dresss 2 wear the prev night itself.
My coll bus came near my home(jus 2mins walk from my home). Its expected time of arrival was 7.45AM. No surprise I started from my home at 7.30 itself(I was tat enthusiastic). I reached my stop at 7.32 two more friends were already there at the stop(more enthu than I am). We 3 waited till 7.50 no bus L. Then at 8.00 we decided catch a MTC bus n reach the coll. I went home and asked my dad to drop me at the nearest bus stand where I boarded a direct bus to my college. I took a seat near the window-pleasant morning with rite amount of sunshine to increase my enthu.
I had absolutely no idea on where to get down. I asked the my neighbor to help me out on this. But she got down before me so I was at the mercy of my GK at topography. I roughly decided to get down at a stop and went near the exit of bus-as expected it was not my coll’s stop. “aduthadhu dhan ma unoda stopu(next stop is ur s)” – a voice helped me - it was bus conductor’s who realized I’m a fresher to the college the moment I entered the bus and got the bus ticket from him.
At last reached my coll at 9.30 - I’m already half hour late and I’ve to walk for another 10 mins to reach my class. I was much worried tat I’m gonna miss my 1st hour. As soon as I reached the 1st yr block one of the staff standing there guided me to my class-who accidently happened to be our Dean;).
I jus went into the class wen my name was called for attendance. My prof who was so kind (the 1st day rite)to let me into the class. My class was already filled and I took a seat at last bench.
There was one more soul who came to classs after me(who happned to be my close friend these days L). She gave me strange look and sat beside me reluctantly. She was not much impressed by my 2.5 glasses and a fruity fruity goodie goodie appearance I guess ;) we jus shared only a smile and “hi” till the noon. However at lunch she felt a little comfortable with me when I started speaking about the movies and actors.
I cud remember only the first class as mathematics - I was too enthusiastic in it as if I’m a Mozart in Matrix and determinants(our first unit) though my maths prof din start her classes. It was jus “introduce yourself” class followed by a brief intro about the subject. Then some more classes – same intro sessions every where.
I din go out for our morning break at 10.40. Most of us were in class introducing ourselves – this break was more like an interacting session. Then two more classes and finally lunch at 12.40.
Our classes resumed at 1.40 same “intro sessions” – 3 more classes. After the final bell at 4.10 I went to our physics prof who was also our transport incharge and enquired about my bus route. He said there was some confusion on that morning and some stupid reason for lack of bus service that morning on my route. He also added tat the buses will be regular from that evening.
There were many buses in the coll road. I looked at each one of them carefully and at last reached mine. I confirmed wit the bus driver and got into the bus. But this time no corner seat. I felt a bit lonely, none I knew in the bus. I din make any attempts to start a conversation with my neighbor neither did she.
My bus departed at 4.30 I reached home at 5.50 I reached home and narrated each and every scene to my mom and school friends. I went early to bed at 10.00PM and slept the next moment.
1st day in Final sem:
I woke up at 7.15 and got ready by 7.50. I took my bag which had only lunch. I already knew I had college only half a day still took my lunch as I cannot bear the canteen food even in case of emergencies. CATEEN FOOD is the only thing which I din like from day one of my college life.

I’ve dropped the habit of going my college bus at end of my 1st yr. I preferred train to cover half of my distance as I thot it was more fast. I took the 8’O clock train then I took a bus and reached the coll at 9.20. Same pleasant morning same window seat could not recover me from my sleep.

I was late by 20 mins. But this time no worry I even planned not to go for 1st hour. But then jus made an attempt to enter – unfortunately my prof good mood and allowed me into the class.

We spent our 1st two hours in choosin our elective paper. Then we quitted for break.

Next two hours we had classes. But we dint use our pens even once even to note down the reference books (of course there are always exceptions ;-)).

I literally slept the last hour – even bit passin and messagin inside the class rooms bugged us. However I woke up wen some photos came to my bench.

At last the final bell – a music that all of us cherish. We had our lunch and left home.
The rest of the day I was wondering what created this drastic change in me (all of us) from an “enthu patani” to a person neither likes to go to coll nor likes to sit at home – is it our college or our attitude ???
